Soy and Hoysin Glaze chicken wings

Easy to cook and delicious. This recipe is adapted from one of the dishes in my LEITHS Online Course. Believe me this dish tastes so fantastic.

    1. 1 kgs chicken wings
    2. 3 Tbsp light soy sauce
    3. 3 Tbsp hoysin sauce
    4. 2 Tbsp sesame oil
    5. 2 Tsp lemon juice
    6. 2 Tbsp honey
    7. 2 cloves garlic
    8. Spring onion (garnish)
    9. Coriander (garnish)
    10. Sesame seeds (garnish)



  1. Preheat the oven to 200C

  2. Chop or crush the garlic finely.
  3. In small bowl,Add garlic, all of light soy sauce, 2 Tbsp Hoysin sauce, 1 Tbsp sesame oil, all honey and all lemon juice. Mix them well.
  4. Coat chicken wings with our mixed sauce. Then place your chicken on baking tray or baking dish and into the oven for 30 minutes.

  5. Check the chicken after 28 minutes whether they are cooked. If you like them to be burned and caramelised, leave them for 30 minutes.

  6. Take chicken out of oven. Mix 1 Tbsp Hoysin Sauce and 1 Tbsp sesame oil to finish up the dish. Then garnish with sesame seeds, chopped spring onions and coriander leaves.
